Filosofia | All the channels claimed the famous superstars, reality shows, entertainment programs with popular faces for the approaching new season. All we mainly had was the news itself and we didn't have those popular star faces but every time the channel is on, you could see some other faces, faces who change the world, faces of who have the great power, faces of Bush, Putin, Ahmedinecad and Annan. For a channel like CNN TURK those faces were the star faces. So the creative idea was to make a clever joke referring to the other channel's popular faces campaigns. |
Problema | In a highly cluttered media scene with channels all similar to one another, CNN TURK had to point out its area of strength and its unique selling proposition which is "be the first to know of what's happening in the world". The summary of the brief was to draw attention to CNN TURK in the coming season. |
Resultado | The campaign was on the billboards for two weeks, it created a great hype, and the joke was mainly received by the upper class, who were the core viewer profile of CNN TURK. |
