Marie-Claude Mayer is Senior Vice President and Publicis Worldwide Account Director, based in Paris.
Marie-Claude is a member of the Publicis Groupe Supervisory Board and a member of the Publicis Worldwide Executive Committee.
Since 2009, she is also a member of the Women’s Forum for the Economy and Society Shareholders Committee.
She has spent most of her career at Publicis, starting as an Account Executive at Publicis Conseil, the French flagship agency. She became Account Director before joining its Board as Deputy General Manager.
She has been supervising several accounts across many categories (Colgate, Europ Assistance, Nestlé, Galeries Lafayette, Dim/Sara Lee, etc).
In 1998, Maurice Lévy asked her to join the international management team and supervise the L’Oréal brands aligned with the Publicis Worldwide network in over 70 countries (Garnier, Lancôme, Biotherm, L’Oréal Professionnel, Kérastase, Softsheen.Carson).
Graduate of the Institut d’Études Politiques de Paris, she holds a Masters in Sociology.
