Scott Benson

Scott Benson is a self taught animator who makes things! He creates colorful worlds and whimsical characters with a dry sense of humour. More importantly, he is an intrepid storyteller. His weapons are After Effects, Flash and Photoshop. He's fast, furious and very funny! A life long artist and maker, Scott has been directing, illustrating and animating since 2004. In that time he has done work for clients large and small, from tech giants to non-profits to punk bands. His work is shot through with storytelling and personality. In 2009 he began regularly releasing animated shorts and experiments which have screened internationally, received hundreds of thousands of views online and garnered a healthy following. His 2011 music video "The Murph" was described by Motionographer.com as "a cosmic story with beautiful, stylized design that will both make you smile and wonder about the future."
