História | The 30 spots are narrated by Charlie Higson who asks Windy about his choice of breakfast. As on his previous TV appearances Windy does not speak but nods and shakes his head in response to questions. In the first spot he indicates he has changed to Quaker Oats from his usual fry up because he has got his cholesterol tests back. In the second he nods that he has chosen Oatso Simple to keep himself going until lunchtime. When asked if this is just the job for a mornings work Windy shakes his head. Instead of going to work he is being picked up by Molly the barmaid from the local pub in her red sports car. Windy winks before getting in. The ads end with the tagline Quaker. We know our oats. |
Filosofia | A TV and print campaign for Quaker featuring Windy Miller, the much loved character from the TV series Camberwick Green, will break on Monday September 19th 2005. The ads feature Windy outside his windmill enjoying Quaker Oats and Oatso Simple. The new ads communicate that oats are officially recognised as a Supergrain and therefore have a number of health benefits, e.g. they actively lower your cholesterol, and release energy slowly to help keep you going until lunchtime. |
