Julie Suntrup Joins Amélie Company as Executive Vice President

 

Amélie Company, a Denver-based creative agency, today announced that Julie Suntrup joined the company as executive vice president. Bringing with her more than 25 years of experience in strategic marketing and business development, Suntrup will drive initiatives that contribute to Amélie's overall growth and success.

"Julie's proven experience in integrated brand marketing, both on the client and agency side, will bring our 'greater good' expertise to the private sector across a spectrum of verticals, including CPG, retail, food, and beverage, among others," said Benoit Guin, CEO of Amélie Company. 

As executive vice president, Suntrup is responsible for overall agency growth while defining and maintaining Amélie's position in the business community. She solicits new business and oversees all agency public relations and marketing activities. She also acts as Guin's right hand and plays a critical role in agency management, increasing client satisfaction, helping to streamline operations and maximize profitability.

Suntrup has an extensive background in brand marketing, client services, business growth strategies and partnership development. She has held executive-level positions at Anheuser-Busch and various agencies, including Switch, VML and, most recently, InTouch Solutions, a pharmaceutical marketing agency where she was vice president of client services. Over the course of her career, Suntrup has worked across more than 20 regional, national and global brands, including Budweiser/AB-InBev family, Glacéau Vitaminwater, Smartwater, Coca-Cola®, Kashi, Special K, Colgate, QuikTrip, Tom's of Maine, Electrolux/Frigidaire, Elsevier and Bayer Pharmaceuticals. She is a graduate of the University of Missouri-Columbia with a degree in human environmental sciences with an emphasis in journalism/advertising.
