E-commerce can be convenient (or addictive) but it’s rarely creative. So here’s a refreshing idea from Rémy Martin and FRED & FARID New York. Facebook and Instagram’s “Collection” ads allow users to swipe through products for sale while keeping an eye on video content above. To stop users in their swiping tracks, a short video shows a mixologist literally breaking out of her box to reach down and grab a bottle of the prestigious cognac from the line-up of products advertised below. Rémy Martin can be sipped on its own or as a cocktail ingredient, but either way this hijack is neat.
