| Brief | An injured man wakes in a hospital bed, his faithful dog by his side. The story then spools back in time. We see the dog arriving with the man in the ambulance, and standing beside the wrecked car after the crash. But when the film arrives at the beginning of the story, there is a heart-rending twist: the dog actually caused the crash by running out in front of the car, only a few moments after his owner tried to abandon him in the woods. Unlike people, a dog is loyal forever. Do not abandon. |
