A certain person knows if you’ve been bad or good – especially if you leave your devices open to hacking. If you own several connected devices and don't update the software regularly, you could have been the “victim” of an awareness campaign run by the Dutch Ministry of Economic Affairs. During the festive holidays, they made people aware of the risks of unsecure devices by sending out surprise greeting cards. With the help of a responsible hacker, they hacked devices and printers to send the message, record the reactions and relay the results across the web to reach even more people. Now you’ve been warned, you can stop the hackers coming to town.
