When Charlie was 13 his dad handed him his old film camera passed down through the generations (rescued from the attic where it was gathering dust) and took it outside into the great outdoors and onto the street! Ever since, his keen eye for beautifully observed photography has become an obsession, using soft, natural light and honest, heartfelt imagery in order to tell his stories.
It wasn't until Charlie studied film at King's College that he discovered documentary, and consequently his ear for engaging stories began to blossom, leading him to make charming films for the likes of the BBC, Mind and Alzheimer’s Society.
