História In the aftermath of World War One, France placed the tomb of an Unknown Soldier under the Arc de Triomphe in Paris. This national monument is dedicated to the memory of all the soldiers who fell during the Great War. One hundred years later, the symbol of war was turned into a universal symbol of peace for younger generations, by giving the Unknown Soldier a face. A face composed of 30,000 men, women, soldiers, nurses, civilians, winners and losers, regardless of their nationality or origins. The result became an interactive and digital work permanently exhibited in the galleries of the Great War Museum.
