Sophie is a British born Graphic Designer, working mainly across digital design for e-commerce. She took an early interest in Art and Design at school before going on to gain a foundation degree in Art and Design at Buckinghamshire New University, followed by a degree (BA Hons) in Product Design at Falmouth University. Shortly after graduating she persuaded an internship as a graphic designer at a start-up, followed by a design agency, before going on to work in a more corporate organisation, gaining a depth of experience in the design field.

I spent a short time at Ofcom helping out with the new installation of the IT upgrades. My main task, along with 4 other people involved upgrading everyones old phones and computers and tracking the updates in excel. It was challenging at first as I had to learn completely new IT skills, but once I was competent in the tasks I gained a lot of satisfaction in accomplishing new skills.

This course covered lots of different areas of art and design including graphics, fashion, 3D and fine art. Throughout the course they encouraged us to be very creative and exploratory within our work. I did projects in all the areas, for 2 weeks each, then I chose to specialise in 3D Design for my final exhibition.
