História	Charter Spectrum and Pereira & O’Dell New York, with the help of SNL alum Kevin Nealon, have created a national advertising campaign that takes aim at some of the frustrations experienced by Satellite TV subscribers. While there continues to be a lot of advertising around the choice consumers have when choosing a television provider, this campaign attempts to illustrate some of the reasons why satellite TV customers may experience problems with their service. The campaign titled “Satellite TV Spaceship” centers around the daily trials and tribulations of the crew working at Satellite TV headquarters, whose operations are based on an outdated spaceship floating above the Earth's surface. Kevin Nealon serves as the well-intended, yet mostly incapable Captain. The commercials chronicle the misadventures of the Captain, along with his first in command and crew, as they try to meet the needs of disgruntled customers with dated technology. Each of the commercials concludes with the line “It’s time to move on from satellite.” In “Friends”, we see Kevin and his first in command do their best at problem solving when TV service goes out. And in “On Hold”, we see the real reason why we’ve spent so much time listening to bad music while on hold with customer service. The spots (two of which have been released) were directed by Fred Savage .The campaign will also include more videos for digital release along with gifs and memes on a branded landing page (http://spectrum.com/lostinspace).
