Sumário

I have spent more than two decades shaping some of the world’s most famous global brands and developed thinking for most of these clients that has set their creative agenda worldwide. Working globally has meant I have developed a keen sense for creative ideas that deliver powerful insights whatever language you may speak. Having worked in communications through this most transformative time, I have embraced the evolving landscape and the way brands interact with their audience. I understand media and cultural shifts are a constant and recognize the impact this has on the conversation. In doing so I believe a clear brand narrative has never been so important and delivering this in new and interesting ways never so rewarding,

Positions

President and Chief Creative Officer

I am in the unique position of leading the management team at 180 Amsterdam and also having a broad range of responsibilities from over-seeing the creative output to managing the business and setting the vision for the agency. I work across all the agency’s accounts such as: PlayStation, Qatar Airways, HP, Asics, Benetton, DHL, Pfizer, Replay and Diageo
Managing Partner/Executive Creative Director

January 2010 - May 2013 (3 anos 4 meses)
The moment I joined 180 we lost our founding client, Adidas. They were also our biggest by some way. After a tough 18 months, we started winning business again. I have since led the agency to win business from all over the world, including: Sony PlayStation, Asics, DHL, Replay Jeans, Qatar Airways, Heineken and Diageo. But more than just winning clients, I steered the agency through the most turbulent of times to create an office with a vibrant creative culture.
Partner/Executive Creative Director
London, Reino Unido
2008 - 2010 (2 anos)
With Aston Martin and His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales we had unusually prestigious clients for such a small agency. Working directly with the Prince and his private secretaries We launched 'The Prince's Rainforest Project'. The communications campaign was hugely successful, gathering corporate sponsors such as Barclays Bank, Goldman Sachs, McDonalds and Shell as well as globally recognised religious and political leaders and people from the world of showbusiness and sport. The project culminated at the G20 summit in London in 2009 where the world's leaders agreed to start a global working party to save and monetize the rain forests of the world. It was a balancing act of creativity and international diplomacy.
Executive Creative Director
Amsterdam, Países Baixos
January 2005 - December 2007 (2 anos 11 meses)
I was responsible for the output of all our clients, including Nike, Coca Cola, Electronic Arts and P&G. I led the team that won the global Coca Cola pitch in 2005 that created the Coke Side of Life campaign - the first global campaign for Coca Cola for over twenty years, running in over 180 countries. The commercial, 'The Happiness Factory' is one of the most celebrated commercials of all time. I also led the team that created the work for the Coca Cola Beijing and Turin Olympic Games as well as creating many campaigns for Nike, including Joga Bonito for the 2006 FIFA World Cup, Air Max 360 and Nike +.
Creative Director
London , Reino Unido
January 2002 - December 2004 (2 anos 11 meses)
When I joined the agency, there were thirty five people in a cramped office in St John street London. When I left, they were hundreds in an office in Shoreditch, London and a micro network with offices in NYC and BA. It was here, with the culture of Mother (no account management), I got a great understanding the world my clients inhabited and an even greater understanding of the value of creativity to their business. I created work for many different brands including Orange Telecoms, Boots, Diageo and Coca Cola.

After and during the merger between GGT and TBWA I penned award winning work for PlayStation and John Smiths Bitter, and election winning work for The Labour Party. I also had a stint working on Apple at Chiat Day with Lee Clow.
