Jason Romeyko was forged as a writer at Saatchi & Saatchi in 1993. Fast-tracked to creative director at 27, Jason has bounced through Sydney, Warsaw, Moscow, Vienna, Berlin and now Geneva.
A pioneer of integrated campaigns in the “Screenage”, he has just stepped down from his position as Global Chief Creative Officer for all GlaxoSmithKline brands in his agency´s portfolio. His goal was to give health & wellness communication a makeover from the boring, transactional O.T.C. into iconic Fast Moving Consumer Health Brands people love.
Over the previous eight years he achieved a similar industry transformation for the telecommunications world as creative lead for Deutsche Telekom´s famous “Life Is For Sharing” campaign across Europe- a role he still enjoys today.
He has been distinguished with various Gold, Silver and Bronze awards at Cannes Lions, Eurobest, ADCE, ADC, CCA, ADCI, Golden Drum, Epica, Clio, and other shows around the world.
In 2015 alone he won an impressive 9 Cannes Lions for Vangardist Magazine and “The HIV+ Issue”. In 2016 he won a further 10 Lions mostly for Sea Hero Quest- the world's first mobile game which helps scientists fight dementia.
Amongst his favorite work is Internet hit “Angry Birds Live” and Katy Perry’s “Firework” campaign and music video, which picked up MTV Video Music Awards coveted “Video Of The Year”.
Over the past six years his work online has been viewed and shared nearly one billion times!
He regularly inspires audiences as a speaker at various industry festivals and events.
