História In a field, the actress Claire Nadeau, believing that she is alone is confiding in a cow. There is between her and the animal a level of sincere complicity. Claire tells the cow her affection since she was a child for Grandlait and the confidence and friendship that she has in as she were talking to an "old friend". The actress becomes suddenly conscious that the situation is original and try to give herself an attitude.
Filosofia The main objective is to wake up the consumer interest for Candia and to make its place face to Lactel in building in the long a communication space for the brand. The speech leans on the quality process initiated by the brand in 99 but in order to pass through the indifference, it has to arouse a likeable and familiar joining movement. The ad is inspired by the film "the cow and the prisoner" in order to install the "cow saga": a famous person is confiding in a cow. It installs an interessant and original mecanism allowing to develop cleverly the brand quality speech and to follow its evolutions. Contrary to usual ads with personnalities, it's the couple who is the star of the film and not the celebrity.
Problema Long preserving half skimmed milk represents the biggest part of the milk market. But this market declines a bit and is rather morose. The consumer doesn't really perceived the added value given by the choice of a famous brand (Distributor brands represent 30% of the sales in volume).Candia is the first brand on the market before Lactel but suffers from an image deficit face to this challenger that has developed an affective and humoristic advertising.
