Matthew White

Matt is Chairman and CEO of White+Partners, the largest independent advertising agency in the Washington, D.C. market. He has been at W+P since 1983 and became President in 1992. In 1964, Matt's father, Jim White, started the company as Nolan, Duffy and White. In 1975, after Jim bought his partners out, the agency was renamed E. James White Communications. In July 2004 Matt renamed the agency White+Partners to reflect the participation of his partners. Matt brings over 25 years of account service and agency management experience, working for Geer Dubois Advertising in New York, The Carborundum Company in Niagara Falls, N.Y., and WBZ-AM Boston after graduating from Boston University in 1982. Matt is a past National Board Member for the American Association of Advertising Agencies and served on the Executive Committee of the Fairfax County Convention and Visitors Bureau Board.
