The personality & first point of contact is none other than Lindsey Bates. For someone whose world simply does not exist without music, it only makes sense that she be the gatekeeper of Vapor Music. With experience in the world of alt-weekly magazines (including both of Toronto's primary freebies EYE & NOW) she had a unique opportunity to fine-tune her pop culture radar, and before long found herself working with all the major & indie labels in a sales and marketing capacity at both publications. With Vapor, she has taken on the very large task of handling the initiatives of a demanding group of perfectionists in an industry filled with demanding overworked perfectionists. Lindsey can handle herself; she's a Leo and an only child... 

Don’t sweat the petty things, and don’t pet the sweaty things”. This is the easygoing yes man motto Natalie lives by. Though her meticulous attention to detail derives from her perfectionism, Natalie’s overall attitude is very west coast. Originally from Ontario’s beautiful cottage country, Natalie has spent the last 4 years bouncing from east to west, before finally finding her home sweet home with Vapor Music.After graduating with honours from Algonquin College’s Television Broadcasting program, Natalie tested out the performance side of the industry. You’ve got to try everything once, right? She spent time with Corus Entertainment’s YTV, and even ventured into entrepreneurship with a successful pumpkin farming business. She turned in her pitchfork for a broadcast producing opportunity at advertising agency DDB Vancouver and has never looked back.When she’s not basking in the creative rhythms at Vapor, Natalie enjoys dancing (whether competitive or alone in her room), and leads a healthy active life negated by oak aged shiraz, creamy blue cheese and hotter than hell wings.

Wearing the hats of director, composer and partner at Vapor Music, Joey Serlin has his fingerprints all over the company’s success. But this is nothing new to Joey, as he has spent the past 14 years tapping into the consciousness of popular appeal in the music industry and beyond. In the mid-90s, he crested atop the Canadian alternative music scene with his band The Watchmen, scoring a number of top 10 hits, Much Music and Juno awards and a succession of gold & platinum albums. Since then, Joey’s musical acumen has provided the successful soundtrack to numerous national television campaigns, such as Budweiser, Wal-Mart, Nintendo, Chrysler, Coke, GM & Nissan while his artistic sensibility has enlightened short films and features alike with his original scores. Striking a balance between rock star and super dad, Joey’s professional and personal lives are an inspired blend of awesome practicality.
