My Name: HOY for Forbes

All around the world women in the workforce face huge barriers. Working mothers are discriminated for not being with their children. Young girls are kept away from careers because of gender stereotypes. Paychecks aren’t fare. The pay gap goes as high as 36,65% in some countries.

And then there is the phenomenon known as “The Glass Ceiling”. When giving promotions, women are usually not even considered, specially for the hierarchy positions within their corporations. This is why there are so few women CEOs, and so few role models girls can look up to.

Forbes Women Power Summit is a space dedicated to recognize the impact and added value that women bring to the world of business, business and the economic development of the country.

Tell us about your role in the creation of this work.

We (HOY) as an agency, thought and carried forward with Forbes Argentina the whole campaign.

Give us an overview of the campaign, what is it about?

The campaign speaks of a problem that is not new, but that we hope won´t continue to age: The Glass Ceiling that women have when accessing hierarchical positions within companies.

Tell us about the details creative brief, what did it ask?

The brief was conceived precisely to communicate "Women Power" a summit where female exponents will speak to inspire and inform the market about everything that women can when leading organizations.

Which insight led to the creation of this piece of work?

Insight is a very hard fact "There are more CEOs called John, than women CEOs" that shows us in a very clear and hard way the lack of women in the high positions of the companies.

What was the greatest challenge that you and your team faced during development.

Treating a subject that it´s unfortunately “old” in our society, but with a new and powerful solution.

Where do you see this campaign going in the future?

We hope that this campaign ends in a museum of causes that no longer make sense to communicate, because the problem no longer exists.
