The city of Singapore is its own best ambassador. To prove it, the local tourist office and the agency TBWA created a highly unusual travelling exhibit: a model version of the city featuring its major tourist attractions. Thanks to the wonders of technology, people could “visit” the scaled-down city by beaming themselves into miniature avatar and taking a look around. The project combined 3D printing, augmented reality and geo-location for a unique experience. It made its debut at a professional salon in Berlin before going on the road. In the meantime, it won five prizes at Spikes Asia. |
