Mark Bowling - Business Director
Mark Bowling is a well-traveled brand marketing and communications problem solver focused on creating innovative pragmatic solutions in a short space of time. Having worked in creative, digital and media agencies in various strategy and planning roles, as well as a stint managing a Digital Consultancy, Mark is one of the very few to have successfully bridged the brand strategy, digital and media environments as a truly holistic communication planner. A well versed facilitator and mentor, he has trained over 3000 people in marketing, media, digital, communications and advertising, and for three years contributed over 200 hours p.a to Samsung’s internal Advanced Marketing Development Programme for senior management.
Until mid-2013 Mark was head of global clients for IPG Mediabrands (Universal McCann and Initiative) in Asia Pacific, headed up strategy for the global Samsung Electronics media and digital business for five years at Publicis Groupe, and from 2004-2008 was Asia head of strategy and research for Starcom and Leo Burnett. A Brit with 19 years experience in the marketing and advertising industry, Mark originally studied in the UK and US, and is currently based in Singapore. A Pilates nut, Mark annoys many by walking on his hands frequently.
