I can think of a few magazines that are a bit of a yawn, but this one has a cover that’s actually designed to put you to sleep. It’s a print ad called SÖMNIG – which is Swedish for sleep, so you don’t need to be Sherlock to deduce that it’s another IKEA innovation. The ad, created in association with MEMAC Ogilvy, appeared on the cover of a magazine in the United Arab Emirates. Once detached, it emits a sleep-inducing aroma of lavender and a faint susurration of white noise, which is known to make people nod off. There’s even a USB port so you can recharge your new bedtime buddy. When it comes to the home, IKEA has everything from A to ZZZZZZ.
