CEREAL CREATIVITY FOR KELLOGG'S

Kellogg’s Rice Krispies is putting the snap, crackle and pop into Christmas for the third year running with its operation #treats4toys. From November 29 to December 1, New Yorkers passing an interactive shop window near Union Square could touch a symbol depicting one of the season’s hottest toys. As if by magic, a Rice Krispie treat in the shape of the toy appeared in the window – before being transformed into an actual toy by a bit of mechanical wizardry. It was all a way of encouraging people to make their own Rice Krispie treats at home and share them on social media using the hashtag #treats4toys. For every creation shared, Kellogg’s made a donation to the Toys For Tots charity.
