Enter the Kenya Tourism Board, which wanted Kenyans to become better ambassadors for their own country. So it created a captcha that challenged them to identify a famous sight or monument in order to prove that they were human and fans of their homeland. Fun fact: “captcha” stands for “Completely Automatic Public Turing Test to Tell Computers and Humans Apart”. Inspired, of course, by Alan Turing, but we’ll leave you to Google him.
