MAD STARS, which is about to mark its 20th anniversary combines Marketing, Advertising, and Digital Content and becomes a MAD TECH festival. As a global creative festival in Asia, MAD STARS receives approximately 20,000 submissions from over 60 countries each year and is recognized worldwide as an acclaimed award.

Under the slogan “Share MAD Solution, Change the World”, MAD STARS accepts entries from February to June annually. Entries are submitted for both the Professionals and the General Public divisions, with 6 Groups, 24 Stars, 373 Categories. Professional entries have been charged since 2024, while General Public entries continue to uphold one of MAD STARS’s Key concepts, “Openness” by remaining no entry fee.

Over 350 current world-renowned professional juries with diverse genders, ages, and backgrounds involve in judging sessions. This aims to explore and respect cultural diversity worldwide by sharing campaigns reflection cultures from different countries, regardless of race, religion, or cultural background. Award-winning works are determined through one preliminary judging and three rounds of final judging. Most honorable award, Grand Prix of the Year awarded in both Product & Service and PSA group.

MAD STARS hosts a 3-day festival in the beautiful coastal city of Busan, South Korea every August.
Festival includes not only Awards but also, Conferences and Exhibitions to explore trends and the future of the MAD industries, vibrant Networking opportunities, and Competitions for junior creatives with less than five years of experience and university students.
