Virtue Taps Whitney Milne As Head Of Client Services & Business Development For Canada

VIRTUE, the global creative agency from VICE, has tapped Whitney Milne as Head of Client Services and Business Development in Canada.

Milne will be leading the client services team and developing business opportunities to further expand VIRTUE's Canadian office, which was recently nominated for Digital Agency of the Year. With thirteen years of experience working on culturally relevant and global brands, her appointment bolsters the agency’s commitment to providing clients the ability to access youth audiences across the world.

This marks a return to VIRTUE for Milne, who first joined the agency at its Brooklyn headquarters in 2015. There, as Global Account Director, she led the Anheuser-Busch InBev and AT&T portfolios, managing and producing multi-million dollar marketing programs inclusive of branded content, digital, social, celebrity partnerships (Tiësto and Diplo's Mad Decent), experiential and on-the-ground international music festival activations.

“I had the privilege of working with Whitney in 2015 through 2017 when we established VIRTUE” says VIRTUE Worldwide President Ryan Mack. “She knows the style of work we want to do, how to manage clients, and holds institutional knowledge that is priceless. We’re excited to have her back.”

In 2017, Milne was appointed VP, Head of Client Services at Attention Global, a social-first agency in NYC. She provided strategic oversight for a number of accounts including Moët & Chandon, AMEX, Constellation Wines and New Business. Since moving back to her hometown of Toronto, Milne has spent the last few months working at Zulu Alpha Kilo across a number of initiatives and new business.

“In my time away, I've watched VIRTUE continue to establish themselves as a global powerhouse and push the boundaries creatively” says Milne. “I can't think of a better place to partner with existing and future brands to bring relevancy to younger audiences, where change and evolution are in their DNA. It’s great to be coming back to the VIRTUE family to further grow our Canadian business.”

Milne’s appointment is effective immediately. She will be reporting directly into Ryan Mack and VICE Canada President Naveen Prasad.
