PRODUCED by PEAKS themselves, the latest release from the trio is the single ‘Don’t Think So’, plus a bonus single titled ‘Holla’.

Justin Hunter is a musical chameleon, working across ambient music, Hip-Hop and dance. The Silent Titan (Thundamentals) is the king of downbeat Hip-Hop and 20-year-old Kearna brings soul to the trio with her golden voice.

Following a sold out EP Launch at the Clarendon in November for ‘Staggered Hearts’, the trio performed at ‘Off The Rails’ festival alongside Urthboy and Thundamentals in Katoomba, and the Blue Mountains Winter Festival.

Inspired by the likes of Nancy Wilson, Haitus Kaiyote and Thundamentals, PEAKS defines their genre as old school hip-hop meets futuristic soul/pop music and you can hear this in their latest singles Don’t Think So and Holla.

‘Don’t Think So’ was written by Justin and Kearna and looks at the concept of things you don’t want to do.

“Unfortunately people do things like get back with an ex, join the core or take a certain job. This song is about not wanting to do those things yet often times in our life things aren’t an option” – Justin Hunter

Holla’, which was written by all three members is about wanting to get out there, and have someone ‘holla’ at you to get involved in general life events.
